Vinyl Wrap Service Agreement

We want your wrap to last as long as you do. In this service agreement, you must understand that the condition your vehicle is in factors into the life of the wrap and some things may be our of our control. You must agree to these terms and conditions before or at time of payment and before we touch your vehicle. The terms and conditions are as follows:

A vehicle wrap is an extremely hands-on process involving many challenging steps that each require full attention and expert craftsmanship. While your vehicle is at Kaleb’s Customs, it is our top priority to return it to you in a timely manner with a wrap free of flaws. To assure this high level of quality, it is important that we both understand the following. Thank you for choosing Kaleb’s Customs Wraps & Graphics!

1)  We both understand that Kaleb’s Customs may need to keep my vehicle for up to 7 business days in order to assure the highest quality installation.

2) We understand that a wrap is not a paint job and in some cases may have overlapping seams, relief cuts, or other evidence that it is vinyl. Keep in mind that we will always go to every length to ensure that in the case of seams, they are placed in the most inconspicuous place possible.

3) I understand that if my vehicle has paint, or body damage, is excessively dirty, or has a weak clear coat that Kaleb’s Customs will not be held responsible for any lifting or adhesive failure that may occur in the future.

4) I understand that the final wrap may vary slightly from proofs due to curvature, obstacles or other reasons outside of our control.

5)  I understand that I will be charged a fee of $100 for each hour spent by Kaleb’s Customs removing existing graphics, or performing heavy cleaning on my vehicle.

6)  Much like my weekly visits to a grocery store, coffee house, gas station, or any other retail establishment, I understand that my vehicle will not be released from Kaleb’s Customs possession until full payment has been received.

7) If your vehicle has been ceramic coated, please let our team know as soon as possible. Ceramic coated cars can cause issues between the vinyl and the panel it is installed on.

8) I understand that Kaleb’s Customs is not responsible for items lost, or stolen in my vehicle while in their possession.

 9) I understand that all sales are final. I will not attempt to issue charge-backs, check-stops, or other methods of refund.

10) I understand that maintaining the wrap requires hand washing the vehicle and that taking a wrapped vehicle through an automatic car wash can damage the wrap and cause lifting at the edges. I understand that Kaleb's Customs is not responsible for damage under these circumstances.

Vehicles MUST be completely clean and dry, prior to installing a wrap. A wrap can be installed perfectly, trimmed, and a single drip of water, speck of dust, or wrong move of a squeegee can require that panel be removed, reprinted, and reinstalled.  Nothing can be rushed and by the time your installer has finished your wrap, he has touched almost every inch of your vehicle at least 4 times.

Paint repairs on cars have advanced, and sometimes very difficult for even us to determine if a vehicle has sustained damage, and/or been touched-up, repainted, buffed, or wet sanded, thus weakening the clear coat, or actual paint adhesion to the body. For this reason, Kaleb’s Customs is not responsible for ANY damage to existing paint or clear coat. By providing your keys to our staff, you understand that Kaleb’s Customs is not responsible for any damage to paint/clear coat, or paint adhesion to your vehicle including the removal process.

The paint on today’s cars and trucks are very thin and watered down compared to what they were 10+ years ago, meaning there is a higher risk of wrap removability issues especially if the wrap is past its warranty period. During the removal process we will take the proper steps necessary to eliminate and/or minimize any damage to the paint of your vehicle, but in certain instances there may be some areas of paint that come off with the wrap due to irregularities that even the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) cannot control.

We warranty our installation for the first three (3) months, if there are any issues they will show well within the first three months. Kaleb’s Customs passes on the existing warranty provided by the manufacturer of the product we install on your vehicle. Should that company decline a warranty claim on your product, Kaleb’s Customs is not responsible for any further warranty on your product.

FILM REMOVAL SERVICE AGREEMENTS

Vinyl Wrap Removal Service Agreement

Removal of vinyl or paint protection film has inherent risks. The biggest of those risks is that paint may lift up due to aged adhesive, or weak bond of paint underneath. Because we have no way to know the condition of the paint underneath the vinyl wrap we cannot be responsible for paint lifting, clear coat damage, scratches, discoloration or any other paint defect that is either caused during the

removal process or that was present but not visible prior to removal. There is a chance that an adhesive promoter was used if the vinyl wrap or PPF was installed by another shop and can increase the removal time and possibility of paint damage depending on how much was used and the location it was used.

We take every precaution to minimize these risks including

• Heating the panel with a steamer

• Applying hot water prior to removal

• Using a heat gun when necessary

• Using plastic razor blades when necessary

• Using paint safe solvent when necessary

• Placing the car in the sun for a few hours to warm up and loosen the adhesive

By accepting the terms of this document I acknowledge that Kaleb’s Customs will take every precaution necessary to mitigate the above risks but I do not hold them responsible for any pre-existing damage or damage caused by the removal of vinyl wrap. Additionally, I agree that Kaleb’s Customs will charge an hourly rate of $100 per hour to remove film and cannot provide a 100% accurate estimate prior to completion of the project.
